Events at LBCGA Work Parties: Watch for dates on main information board for work parties which are from  7:30 to 9:30 AM with Board Meeting normally following at 10 AM.  After the June  work party there will be the Annual Meeting. WORK PARTIES Work parties are normally the first Saturday of the month (subject to change) with dates posted on the large information board at the front of the garden.   They are from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Only work party people are allowed in the garden at this time. Each gardener must have four (4) hours of community service a year before they renew their membership in June. ELECTIONS Officers and Directors shall be elected to serve terms of one year from July 1st to June 30th or until their successors take office.  The Nominating Committee will present a slate of candidates for elective office at the Annual General Meeting and a ballot is put in each plot.  For members who wish to be add to the ballot can call the number for the Nominating Committee and add their name.  Officers and Directors shall be elected by confidential ballot.  If there is any   nomination from the floor, the nominee must be present to accept or decline.  The Annual General Meeting will be held on the first Saturday of June after the work party.
